when I run my test script, only the first row of the data table gets executed and the test results are shown up. Test script doesn't run through the other rows of the data table. I am using global data table.Did anybody experience this kind of problem. If so, what could be the cause of it? Please share your experience and any suggestions are welcome.Thanks in advance

As RaviQTP says..it is not allowed to change the repoitory type once the test is created. we have to create a new test to change the type of repository

If you use recovery scenario manager if u may not knowing the when error will occur. So better you can use on resume next method to use exception handling in qtp

When an application is launched before launching of QTP, QTP fails to recognize the application. Hence no script is generated.
Always launch the application under test after the qtp is launched in the machine.

In real time projects ,we use to call ,Frame work as a folder. This folder contains the components such as , Object Repository,logs ,test data,script,result...etc. so whatever files are created to develop a script are stored in a sepatate folder,which is nothing but a framework

Functions are used to make the logic is reusable
2.Actions contains Functions but functions doesnt contains Actions
3.Actions cant return any value but Functions returns Values

We can also return multiple values with functions using "Array" function in vbscript. difference is action contains OR but function doesn't contain OR.and Function is a vb script feature and Action is a Tool Feature of QTP.

Functions are faster in execution than actions.
