Object Repository is a placeholder for objects used to identify test elements. The size of Object Repository depends on the number of objects and the number of properties used per object.

I don't think I entirely understand your question. If you have QTP and your scripts on your local machine, why do you need to connect to a remote machine?

This is used for handling Run time errors. If you use this statement in the script then it will close any kind of run error dialogs while running the script.

Here there is another reason that is Objects are not captured by QTP.some times qtp is not identifying the objectsfor example default mode is "context sensitive mode" it could not able to capture all objects from application this also one of the reason
