Test object is The object present in the "Object repository".It is reference to the actual object.Business object is Runtime object ,QTP performs operations on those object while it is running,These objects present in the "Application".

First export to a file datatable.export"path"and then import from the file datatable.import"path"that's itI believe u got.

While calling from QTP it shows the error message, like "Variable uses an Automation type not supported in VBScript: 'Extern.name_return'". HiI am not exactly sure of the solution u can just try writing some stubs for validating the email field.The below is simple example for validating text box with only numeric values.Similarly u can write a stub which will except email validation creteria.EX: Simple Validation

Upgrading QTP Scripts Question
I have script recorded in QTP 8.2 and Objects recorded in QTP 9.1 then tell me how to update the script from QTP 8.2 to QTP 9.1 so that all recorded objects are also identified in updated script(QTP 9.1). I tried before but in some objects are not identified. Please help.RegardsAbhy

Hello everyone! currently I've to work with QTP tool the part of the application is built on dot net environment using c# But Tool is not recognizing its object every time when we will close the window and launch it again it gives the different name for its object so unable to perform automation .this is a window based application . Guys can you please help me out what to do ??

In EXpertview we can view the script and write the scriptIn Keywordview, which shows the graphical representation of the script.

We get weekly builds where the URL of the Web application changes.Is there any way where we can set the URL of the Application to be run for all the test scripts.Each time the URL changes, i need to change the url of the browser in the Record and Run settings for all the test scripts.

In Keyword view, when QTP interacts with application under test it stores in the form of action. while in expert view QTP records scripts in the form of functions ( VB Script).

Hi Pls let me know the solution for the below problem.In QTP Flight application, when we create a new order, always an new order number is generated. i have inserted a synchronization point for Insert done and text output value to the order number field and i am getting the order number in the datatable sheet.But the Problem is when i run the script for multiple number of times, the order number in the datable is over written always.How can i get the list of all the order numbers for the script i execute.Still more precisely, the order number for the first order which is written in the data table sheet should not get over written when the creating second order is created.Thanks and RegardsBindu Dey.
