Hicould somebody please help. Working on a web app. it has two sections on the left hand side is a list of folders or options. when some option is clicked on, on the right hand side all the stuff in that folder is populate. QTP recognizes the object and in the summary results shows what was clicked on, but nothing happens. not sure if there is something behind this object or....here is what i have...

Some of the objects like Rich text boxes are not recognizing by qtp, while recording. What is solution for that, if anybody knows please put the solution ASAP.

I think the issue lies in the settings , where you have to check for one iteration only .. by default it remains checked as for all the rows ..

when I run my test script, only the first row of the data table gets executed and the test results are shown up. Test script doesn't run through the other rows of the data table. I am using global data table.Did anybody experience this kind of problem. If so, what could be the cause of it? Please share your experience and any suggestions are welcome.Thanks in advance

As RaviQTP says..it is not allowed to change the repoitory type once the test is created. we have to create a new test to change the type of repository

If you use recovery scenario manager if u may not knowing the when error will occur. So better you can use on resume next method to use exception handling in qtp

When an application is launched before launching of QTP, QTP fails to recognize the application. Hence no script is generated.
Always launch the application under test after the qtp is launched in the machine.
