What data modelling do you follow while loading of data to tables? Also the DB you are inserting the data has Star schema or Snow flake schema?

It depends on schema, since the star/snow flake schema has one fact table attached to multiple dimensions
so, I would go with 3rd normalized form.

If the stats are not collected on the table the index info is not available in the data dictionary, ,In such case the optimizer would pick up the full table scan instead of using the indexes. In order to always use the indexes we can give the hint to oracle to always use the index.

One table can only have one clustered Index (When we create primary key on table,oracle automatically creates Clustered index on that column) but It can have many non clustered index, approximately 250

Ab-Initio Certifications are only available in United States which can cost around $3-4k. Residents outside states dont have this privilege. Presuming that you are in India, I would recommend you to go-ahead with Teradata SQL and Oracle SQL Certifications.

1. If the requirement is to just move the files to Unix , you can do that using WINSCP tool
2. Depends on where you install GDE , in unix or windows ?
3. You can map the data after transforming (if required) to a target table.
4. Staging is not mandatory

You can keep the reformat reject threshold as never abort or
if you know for which column it is coming invalid ,we can use is_valid function and provide some default values

How does force_error function work ? If we set never abort in reformat , will force_error stop the graph or will it continue to process the next set of records ?

Force_error function will not throw any error when we keep the reject threshold as never abort. but it will reject all unwanted records per requirement and will provide you the message.

Force error displays the error message upon the failure of the graph,as u r placing never abort, no failure,so no force error.
