Hi friends i have my first job interview on tuesday.. I am very nervous..any expert tips or interview advise...that will be great help..

Hi Preethy,
Dont get tensed.. just prepare for the following questions ,as it is your first interview.

1.Tell me about yourself
2.Tell me about your project
3.What is Regression Testing and what is retesting
4.Bug life cycle.
5.Difference between Sanity and Smoke testing
6.What is the Difference between Error and Defect.

Tips :
1.Be clear in your answers
2.If you are not getting the question asked by the interivewer ,then ask him one more time
3.Dont get confused while answering.
4.Dont tell long and marathon answers to the interviewer.Be short and simple.

Ultimately interview phobia goes only you attend lots of interviews.Untill that time, you will have this phobia in your mind.

Dont worry, you are facing the most obvious problem.It happens to everyone.

Hi Preeti,

As this is your first job interview then I guess you are a Fresher. For a fresher attending interview then they will be given the choice of what you are strong at. So prescribe to the point in which you are strong like C++ or
Data structures or Algorithms etc.,

While attending the interviews,
- Clear at the point which you are mentioning
- Be specific
- Don't get into the subject which you are not sure and also dont intimate wrongly that you the subject which you dont know it really
- Be relaxed and dont get tensed.

Other than this, follow normal guidelines which you do during the interviews.

Hi preethi..
First of all try to avoid nervousness and be cool.As of my experience, be thorough with your biodata.You must be able to answer all the details which you have put up in your biodata.In US the interviewing is slight different(i felt).They will focus on your ability for the post.Your attitude for solving problems,how you communicate etc.
