    Hi Sunitha,

If you are planning to appear for CSTE then following are the details:

    Option 1: USD $350
[Application Fee + CD of the Study Guide]

    Option 2: USD $400
[Application Fee + CD + hard copy of the Study Guide]

    Mode of Payment
The fee (in USD only) can be paid by a dollar draft/check. You can also make the payment using credit card. This card information needs to be filled in the application. The forms can be sent to Software Certifications by fax or courier.

The forth coming exam date is 15 th March 2008 and the application deadline is 15th January 2008.

    You can read this book

Managing the Testing Process: Practical Tools and Techniques for Managing Hardware and Software Testing
by Rex Black. Microsoft Press, 1999.

Just adding to what Sridhar has already suggested -

Do go through CBOK - Common Body of Knowledge which is sent across to you when you register for CSTE. Most of the Objective questions come from CBOK.

To clear things, CBOK is the Study Guide specified by Sridhar.
