Features and difference between Oracle products
Features and difference between Oracle products like 8i, 9i, 10g, 11i.
What is the easiest method to prepare oracle 9i.
Why we use 9i instead of 8i

Re: Features and difference between Oracle products
These are different version of Oracle Databse
while 8i was the first version supporting data transmission over inter net
8i uses PARALLEL PROCESSING
9i is the advenced version of 8i with some added features.
9I USES RAC(REAL APPLICATION CLUSTERS)
10g stands for ORACLE GRID .it supports grid architecture.
It uses GRID.
it has a lot of advantages over its previous version .
Lso it supports a hand ful of new commands.
But so far 11i is concerned ,it is not part of DATABASE .
It is ERP
so the last version of oracle database available in market is 10g
you can expect oracle 11g by next year.

rollup(),grouping(),dense_Rank(),rank(),tan2(),Outerjoins like this many .This is important question for any interview.U can expect this.
In 2 interviews I faced this.
