Thread: problem in lincese of QTP uninstallation

Hi,

I have installed QTP9.2 trail version of abotu 14 days.
After a day i uninstalled it due to some issues in my system.
Then after a week i installed the QTP trial verison again.
But now the trail is available for 7 days only for.
Though i have ununstalled and installed again it is calculating the days that i have not used. Is there any way to solve this.

Can u guide me please. I am using windows XP

Open Registry transaction by writing regedit at the run prompt(Start menu-> run)

Now windows have left pannel which shows four main folders with extendable key.

click on + sign of then software and you can see the folder named Mercury Interactive or QTP, right click and delete this folder..

I hope after this you will be able to install ...
