Side by Side Execution of multiple versions

I have need in one of my project requires to test DotNet web application old and new version site by side on the same computer..

Could some one help me how this process works...

Hi,
If it's a web application, you will either need to need create two virtual directories pointing to the appropriate folders

or you will need create two website that are hosted from two different ports and each website should point to the appropriate folder

yes but not perfect solution , you can deploy the web application with two instance in IIS in same machine and can comapre
