Re: Waterfall Model
In Waterfall model every phase is implemented in a sequential order.
Waterfall model is suitable when the specification and requirements are clearly stated and the project is smaller in size.
In a Waterfall model the output of one phase forms the input of the next phase.
This concept actually turn as its disadvantage i.e., whe a mistake occurs in a particular phase, the same mistakes gets carried over to the last phase.
Waterfall model is time intensive process and almost provides little or no option to change user requirements.

2. Project monitoring is easy because of the visible outputs at each stage
3. As it is a simple model, it is followed in a large number of organization, particularly for commercial projects

5. No rework and result is high quality product
Disadvantages of Waterfall Model:
1. Not suitable for change driven project
2. Not suitable for large project
3. Its uniform and steps are sequence
4. For change driven project, Modified Waterfall Model is used
