    Re: test density

I think it is the number of test cases in each module.

Lack of WILL POWER has caused more failure than
    lack of INTELLIGENCE or ABILITY.

The defect density or test density is one of the metric used to measure the quality of the product.

    Re: test density

bug density or test density helps the test lead know the quality of each module before declaring a test closure. This metric helps the test lead know the modules on which the final regression testing has to be performed.

    Re: Testing Metrics

To calculate the size of the software product the main metric is BVA i.e Bounadary Value Analysis.(size/Range)

    Re: Test Density

As per my knowledge BVA is used for caleculating size/range of an object not for s/w product

    Re: Test Density

defect density: assume defects found by our testers as "A" assume defects found by customer side people as "B" then defect density is as A/A+B
