Thread: Browser Crash when we run QTP

Hi all,

When i am running Keyword Frame work on .NET application at the middile the browser(IE6.0 & IE 7.0) is generating error.after clicking any button on the error the browser is closing .so ia m unable to complete the exection.manually it is not occuring on the aplication.Please suggest me.your answer is most appreciable

I had the same problem, so the best bet will be re installing IE. Good luck.

I faced the same problem, i contacted HP people, and they come up with a new dll.After replacing the existing dll with the new one,the problem get solved.

Whenever I am opening QTP that time if any open Internet Explorer I was getting message like "Internet explore has encountered a problem and needs to be closed. We are sorry for inconvinence casued"and same way new browser also not opening.
If you have any idea please let me know.

I am using : IE7,XP as OS and QTP 9.2.
Appreciated your earliest suggestions.

Can you please let me know what is the DLL name. Along with me it will be useful for many other. Appreciate your help.
