Thread: got thru patni gd.

hai yesterday i attended a written exam in patni computer system.
They called us for a written exam around 9'0 clock.
they show a pp for 20 minutes and the written exam started around 10.15.

Written exam has 3 section.
1. verbal ability
2. quantitative ability
3. analytical ability.
Totally 60 questions for which 70 min time slot was given.

There is no negative mark. each question carry one mark. They had a very low cut off marks for selection(it seems).

It was easy question. nearly 25-30 ques come from percentage and ratio.
So guys, if any one got call for written exam in patni, please make yourself strong in percentage and ratio.

I think that's enough to clear the written exam.

I got thru the written exam and i had a gd around 1.20.

The panel is really kind and energetic. he asked us to choose ourselves a topic for discussion. The girl next to me selected a topic"Joint family versus nuclear family". Everyone agreed to that and the gd starts.
No one started for 4 seconds and the panel stressed once again let's begin.
So, i took an initiative by introducing myself and talked for a while before interrupted by another guy. I talked about joint family.

It's easy to clear GD round.
key to clear gd are,
.keep ur chin up. i.e's more important.
.be an initiator or concluder. (it will give u more marks)
. if u interrupt while other person is talking, please say "Sorry to interrupt" and at the end say "Sorry for the interruption".
. Listen to others. (show ur listening ability and giving respect to others words)
. Give some two or three main points .

i think this is enough for clearing GD. one more thing is while someone talks look at him and never look at the panel. don't show your disappointment.

GD is over. and they asked us to write our "Today's experience" in a sheet and after that they released our result. god grace, i have got thru.

they will announce my interview date later.
guys it's very easy to clear patni written and gd round provided that u have good attitude.
