Thread: Can Silk test help automating flash controls??

I have an application with most of its wizards developed on flash controls (Window,Textboxes, Combo,pushbutton,checkbox .. etc). When I record the wizards it shows the whole window as one object rather detecting its individual objects. Still we are investing for the suitable automation tool. We test fesibility on Silk 2006 evaluated version. Any body can help me out.

No, SilkTest can't be used for FLASH

I guess SilkTest would not be the rite tool for Flash Applications. However, you could try AutoTestFlash functional testing tool which could test the flash applications. The best part is that it is a free tool.

SilkTest 2008 does support testing Flash applications

i am using silk test 2008 still it does not recognize flash objects
