Recording problem in QTP 8.2 on Windows Vista

Hi,
I am new to QTP. I installed QTP 8.2 version in my PC(Windows vista) I am trying
1) click record in QTP
2) it's opening yahoo main page while recording
3) click on mail
4) entering id and pwd in yahoo and
5) click on close
6) stop in QTP

For this it's recording only
Windows("Windows Internet Explorer").Close
in the expert view and in the keyword view just line written i.e Windows Internet Explorer

please can u help me why it's not recording step by step.
