.Net Versus Oracle

Hi All,

I am a.Net Developer working in small company from 6 months
I thoght of moving my carrer from .Net to Oracle
1)Is it a wise decision to move from
.Net to Oracle?
So i started laerning Oracle
How will be the opportunities at Oracle side?
Kindly Guide me guys?

What is the problem with your job. If you learn Oracle that will help you in your job. You need not change your job. But if you want to go for Oracle only , u must be very strong is SQL and PL/SQL.

hi,
I learned .net,But in my company i am not working on .Net
I am working on some other technologies and moving from one Technology to another technology
frequently.so thought of moving from my company
in order to get good job outside whether i should know .Net Or Oracle?
for .Net lot of competition will be there and no one will recruit dot net with 8 months of experience
i heard that Oracle has much importance and more openings
so thought of moving to Oracle.?
can u please suggest on these?
