    Shared Memory Connection Read Write

    Problem with sql server 2005 i am using sql server 2005 with visual basic 6.0 as frontend.

    My database is on local system.
    But when lan is disconnected then following error occures.
    Either

    [microsoft][odbc sql server driver][shared memory]connectionwrite (send()).

    Or

    [microsoft][odbc sql server driver][shared memory]connectionread (recv()).

    Please help me.

    I think, this is automatic message. one has to handle it properly using logic. Probably u have to identify error code corrosponding to event occuring and handle that error code

    Dear,
    since you try it and it doesn't work, while not try to connect it again, than giving yourself a hell of problem, or why not try and use sql server 2000. it will surely work.
