What test data would you need to test that a specific date occurs on a specific day of week?

Hi,

Let us presume you wish to check if a specified date (Say 25/01/2008) falls on a Friday or Not.

In order to ensure this, we would need 2 things first as Test Data -
1) The input date from User which has to be checked (25/01/2008).
2) Dates of all the Friday's within the month to be checked (January in this case).

Once you have both the test data ready, all you would need is to compare the user input date as against the list of Friday dates. Accordingly, your testcase would result in a PASS or FAIL.
