    Which of the following items would not come under Configuration Management?

    a) operating systems
    b) test documentation
    c) live data
    d) user requirement documents

    Hi Brijesh,

    I guess the answer is (c). Actually it is a throw-up between (a) and (c).

    Reason being, anything which can be versioned and maintains a history stats about itself can be called as configurable Item. Based on the same a,b and d can be versioned while Live Data cannot.

    Contradiction : Some would say Live data would have versioning in terms of date generated and would also maintain a log of the same.
    But infact it does not maintain any history of updates or changes in itself, hence it would not qualify.
