What are common errors in browser compatibility testing?

Hi judhajit,

Following are some of the errors that will happen in common when browser is tested for its compatibility

i. Versioning error - when new version of the HTML is installed the application may not support the newer version.
ii. Font Recognizition - The application may not be able to recognize the new fonts installed.
iii. Different Browser error - The application may not support the other browsers. for example, if the application is designed for IE it may not support Mozilla.
iv. Different Platform - The application designed in the Windows platform may not suit the UNIX or MAC.
v. Database connectivity - When the application is linked to fetch data from another database.
