Highest-risk aspects of application

when we are getting a qstn like What do the developers think are the highest-risk aspects of the application?

Hi Sijonath,

Firstly please let us know if you are considering this from a Tester Perspective or a Developer perspetive.

Incase it is a Tester perspective, I am not really sure as to how we would be able to gauge as to what are the High-Risk aspects of an application from a Developer perspective.

On a General level though, for every application navigational flow, we have something called as Critical path flow. We as testers would focus that the functionalities that are integrated along this Critical path are working fine - Independently as well for data Integration.

We also focus on the critical modules of the application which are extremely pertinent to Business requirements. We call this as Risk based testing as well.

Do revert back as to which perspective we are really looking at and we could come up with some answers...
