hi frnds can any one tell about the ISQTB certification.
How we hav to appear?
in which month it will be held?
how much we hav to pay for that & the practice Question papers or Website regarding ISQTB certification?

ISTQB certification is conducted for the Testing professionals. Everybody can attend the exam. If you are working as a Software Testing Professional holding the ISTQB certification will really be a added advantage to your career.

The exams are conducted in two levels
1. Foundation Level and
2. Advanced Level (the pre-requisite is to clear the Foundation level)

For appearing in the exam you have to directly apply in the ISTQB website. The fees for the exam is 4500 for both the levels. If you are working in any of the organization which is an affiliate of ISTQB and applying through the company you will get Rs. 500 discount on the exam fee.

In the site itself you will have the exam schedule and the venue details. The forth coming exam is in the month of December 16,2007. The syllabus for the exams you can download from the ISTQB site itself. You have to prepare for the exam based on the syllabi. In general for preparing for the exam you should have very strong knowledge in Testing concepts, Quality principles, Test methodologies etc.,
