If a program structure wants to take the input from 'n' number of values then it can be done by the use of parameterisation.

For example, you want to test the login page of the application with the user names saved in the database. If you give input by means of input box then it will be tested for one value only. But by the use of parameterisation, the input will be taken from the table where the list of user names will be saved. Parameterisation will be done till the parameter limit specified.
