Recognising only outer form boundary

Hi All,

I am working on developing automated test scripts for a application developed using Remedy user (AR systems), the problem I am facing is that QTP is not able to recognize the objects. Its only recognizing the outer form (boundry) though its web-edit or web-button. Presently I am using API approach to automate the application but its too cumbersome can you plz. suggest any other approach for the same?

1. Please check that you have sufficient Add-Ins.

2. Configure the Object Identification Properties.

3. Get Spy Details of all the Objects as per your Test.

Once the Above details are completed ans still you have any issues in Object Identification...Please Consult www.mercury.com for further assistance they might provide you with a addin support specific to your application.
