Is DML statements are cursors?

i am having one doubt about dml statements, that is ,dml statements are cursors or not

No cursor is not DML.

Cursor is not part of any data manipulation.

There are some cursor attributes.If we state any DML statement inide a pl/sql block,implicitely a cursor sql%rowcount will be created which consists of the records satifying the DML statement,and DML operation is performed on the records in the cursor.
