can anybody tell about object repository

i cannot activate the window even add it to object repository

Object repository only have the identity of all test objects.If test object is not in object repository then that will not be find out by application.
But adding a window object in repository will not activate it.You have to insert the respective step in application which will activate the window after confirming it's identity from repository.
