Informatica server service starts and stops

    Hi, This is Srinivas

I installed ODBC, Informatica client on Win XP and
I installed repository server and Informatica server on Win 2003 server.
I connected two systems using cross cable.
I promoted 2003 server as domain.
I made XP as a client of 2003 server.
When I am trying to start the informatica server service it starts and stops.
I tried in all the ways but I dont have any chances to try it
Can anybody plz help me out in this problem.

    Hi Srinivas,

Its totally configuration problem. In order to fix this, you have to dig out the problem persists at which end.

Please make sure that connection between server and client is perfect or not (Physically)

Let me your database is installed at which end and check the tnsnames.ora once.

In Services - make both the server tasks as Automatic..
If still problem is there, just msg me...
