Testing Time in SDLC

Well, Can Anyone tell me, how much time a Tester should be given or take for testing in SDLC depend upon the size of the project against the developement time, done by the devlopers. As testing requires more time & effort than any other phase in the SDLC.

Its based on the size of the project and there are various tools and methods to estimate the time required to test the build.

this falls as the responsibility of the Lead and the manager to decide based on the complexity of the project to be tested.
