    Arrow Can somebody help me out

    hi....
    Can somebody help me out in this issue..
    As my server consists of number of databases , so i want to create sub folders under databases as its creating a confusion ...could this be possible in Sql Server 2000.

    Eg:
    1a
    2a
    3a
    4a
    1b
    2b
    3b
    4b
    I want these in 2 sub folders 'a' and 'b'

    form your post i am not at all sure what exactlyyou want to achieve by creating subfolders . Please post that clearly again.

    I Heard that we can create the sub folders in the database section. Is that possible.can u plz tell me

    in object explorer right click on the database and create new folder u want to server as database
    To use the particular database try out this cmd


    use
    go


    select these statements in click execute
    the cmds that are execute d after this wll be in that database

    In sql serer 2000 in each of the databases there are

    .mdf and .ldf

    You can have a copy for each of the databases.Ex 1a,1b,2a,2b..............

    When ever you want you can load these files to any of the databases.

    Just goto Enterprize manager there right click mouse on database..click new database....then u can view of the new database ...in query analyzer we can use use which u created previously.....then u can use that database name........
