hi guys,
This is suneetharoy.i'm having a query that how to run a session in recovery mode in informatica with necessary steps & procedure.plz can any one help me out waiting for the early reply.......

The process that the PowerCenter Server uses to complete failed sessions. When the PowerCenter Server runs a recovery session that writes to a relational target in normal mode, it resumes writing to the target database table at the point at which the previous session failed. For other target types, the PowerCenter Server performs the entire writer run again.

As Sriram told, Session recovery is the process of recovering the failed sessions to complete it successfully.

For this process,

• You stop the failed session.
• Then in session properties - Config object - Error Handling - check the Enable Recovery option.
• After doing all the above process, run the workflow from the failed session onwards.
