DSTX basically cencerned with the middle part of ETL ie.Transformations. It does not deal with Extraction or Loading.Originally Posted by Geek_Guest

The statement about DSTX not doing extraction or loading is not true. I have written maps that have extracted data from Oracle tables. Yes it is used as a transformer. However I have also loaded data into tables.
