Macros in Report and Creating Measure Dimension

Why we have to use macros in report? Can anyone please give sample for macros?

Can we create measure dimension in data manager like how we do in framework manager?

    Hi Asish,

Macros are re-usable code that can be used wherever a script is allowed to run. In FM and Report Studio, you can use macros.

It is not mandatory to use macros. If there is a need to change the values of DB objects dynamically while run-time, you can make use of macros.
