Extracting text with qtp

hi,

I need qtp to clean up a text file for me,I'm looking for certain text only, rows with specific text in them, for example; i need to extract all records containing the words: ..."SYSOUT RECORDS" plus the following 5 rows... can anybody please give me a 'starting point' on how to do this with QTP?

It can be done without QTP also....

You need to create the Object of Text file in VBScript.

Read the File and check for InStr Function for the specific text.
Explore: CreateObject for R/W text file.
