    Re: managing time

Hi , There is no hard and fast rule. Manager your time by priortizing your work.
Say if you have 8 hours in a day and your work ( as per your capability and efficiency ) is 10 hours , the only way is to do 8 hour of work which is most important and rest 2 you can either overtime or take next day as it is of less importance.
As for meeting deadline , give some time to plan your work , rough estimates and deadlines.Setup short term goals say weekly and then gauge your progress accordingly.

    Thanks
    Faisal

The interviewer is trying to determine how you prioritize your deliverables and if you can handle this independently by yourself or if you look for help from your supervisor. All time and task management is prioritized on the basis of urgency, criticality and complexity - you would want to do a task that is due tomorrow before one that is due next week.
Now, if you cannot prioritize independently you probably are not ready to be a manager. Likewise, you should understand your limits and know when to escalate the issue or problem. Lastly, you want to convey your dedication or loyalty by being willing to work the extra hours to get the job done - on time with high quality.
