Anybody have knowledge about MQC
Hi,
I am new to Testing, I have to test my project (web application) with Mercury Quality Center Tool. Anybody have knowledge about MQC....? Because, I want to know how to use the tool and from where can I start with that tool.
I have searched many documents for this information, but I couldn't find any information relating to this.
If anybody have any idea about MQC please let me know.
Thanks in advance

Re: Anybody have knowledge about MQC
Hi mqc is minimum quality control software. This software provides the source code only, which is written in fortran 90 under the ansi standard. The implementation under the local operating system is left to the user, as computer environments are different world-wide. The intention is to correct the original data in line with the minimum quality control standards (mqcs-v) wherever it is possible for further details check the url.... http://www.wmo.ch/web/aom/marprog/op...c-software.htm

Re: Anybody have knowledge about MQC
mercury quality center is test management tool only..it is web server..
w.r.t automation we can run automation scripts directly by QC
also we can have scripts in qc itself ,,we have to map the scripts with test cases--scenarios---requirements ...so that we can easily cover the requirements with automation scripts. also we logging defects in that...

Re: Anybody have knowledge about MQC
It is nothing but Mercury Quality Center
It has seperate tabs for writting test cases(Test Plan)
Executing test cases(Test Lab)
Logging the defect(Defects)
It is very user friendly tool to execute manual test cases...
To write or execute test case, you should go to ur project folder.
If u go through once, u'll become very much familiar.
