QTP Trial not installing for second time in same system.
i tried QTp trial verxion now trial period got over when i tried to installl the trial version again i cant install ... help me,,,,,,,

you can't do that.You have to format your system or to edit the registry, because QTP generates a system key when do installation.

is there any other alternate way to install qtp for second time ..
what is registry... shall i delete that and try installing!!!

You can try one more attempt ... now are you sure that qtp is uninstalled .
Then open Registry transaction.
atwrite regedit....
next windows have left pannel which shows four main folders with extendable key.
click on + sign ofthen software and you can see the folder named right click and delete this folder..
same done with
I hope after this you will be able to install ...

Thanks Arsh. Could you give me some more information about Uninstalling QTP. I could see two folders named Mercury Interactive and QTP as one of its sub folder in the Registry. Now ,my doubt is which folder I have to delete: folder named Mercury Interactive or folder named Quick Test Professional. Hoping you can help me.
It would be better to delete mercury interactive in(hkey_currentuser>software
,hkey_localmachine>software)
