Sub objects in picture box menu

    Hello,

I am currently testing an application in QTP and am having trouble getting QTP to recognize a sub-object within a picture box.

QTP recognizes the main box, but does not recognize any child objects.

line of code is: VbWindow("MDIMain").ActiveX("Visual Basic SideBar Control").WinObject("ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC_[0-9]*").Click 46,143

Please could someone provide some insight into this?

    cheers.

    1. GetTextLocation text, 0,0,0,0

will return the cordinates under the parent control that can be used to perform validation's

    2. You need to get the Add-In for your application in case u would like to work on the child object explicitly.

    Regards,
