Thread: on Keyboard view

when I am recording in QTP the script is not getting displayed in keyboard view or expert view, can some tell me why it not displaying?

Its not keyboard view, its Keyword view.

For what I understood about your problem, is that the objects on the webpage are not getting identified. I may be wrong!!!

Can you please check if the tool is identifying objects? You can do this by using Object Spy. In the menu Bar, click on Tools-> Object Spy.

A window will open, Click on the hand and then click on any object on your web page.

Now check if the object properties are getting displayed properly or not.
If not then maybe the tool is not recognizing the application.

Can you tell me what technology is your application built in?
