Hello Dear,

There is a great scope in Oracle field, There are two specialization in Oracle i.e Oracle Devl and Oracle Database Administration. If you dont have interest in programming u can choose Oracle database adminstration, It completely deals with the managing of a Company Database.
Oracle database Administration has four papers -
SQL, Fundamental I, Fundamental II and Performance Tunning.

Where as Oracle Developer Track has 3 papers
Sql, Plsql and Forms & Reports.

The scope is very wide in oracle DBA

Hi, 1st of all i'l appreciate this thinking of urs going for oracle. To do oracale certification, u must have some basic knowledge about database management, than only u can understand oracle certification content. There are two areas in oracle, 1st oracle developer and 2nd oracle database administrator. There are 3 databases in oracle databases, 9i,10g and 11g. There are 3 levels in oracle certification: entry, professional and master. There are 2 exams u have to clear to be an oca. Exam (1) 1z0-007 introduction to oracle9i sql® (cost: $95) or 1z0-047 oracle database sql expert (cost: $125) or 1z0-051 oracle database 11g: sql fundamentals i (cost: $125) exam (2) exam 1z0-031 oracle9i database: fundamentals i (cost: $95) for preparation material i suggest u should go for e-learning mode, coz this is the fastest and easiest way to learn about certification.

Oracle certifications are available in two tracks..database adminsitration track ad database developer track. Oracle Certifications track available on three oracle database versions (9i,10g,11g).

oracle Certification exam costs between ($95 and $125), for material go for authorized content..from niit online training portal. I have got good reveiws from various colleagues and i have also taken training from there, all reveiws proved right. Rest you can see.
