you just install any ftp server in you os and create an account in for your use or anybody and set the root directory for account and permissions
no go to some other computer in lan and open cmd type->ftp <ip address of computer on which server is installed>
no you can use this interface to transfer files from one computer to other

u make the connection in dhcp mode

u establish network connection in dhcp mode

we should configure dhcp on router

if your system capable wi-fi tech. and your office network useing wireless modem then go local area network properties and set the automatically optain ip. now click wireless connection and connect.

Every wirless access point having on dhcp server. just you enable it. its automatically provide an IP for all client.

You need to Configure DHCP, then system can pick the IP or Provide Static IP, otherwise you will not be able to Connect to the network.
