Infact OOPS is abbrevation.The full form is the above one
In these languages v consider "objects" and so the name.
For eg C++,JAVA,VB
Remember C is not Object oriented.

it supprts encapsulation,
inheritance,
polymorphism,
data hiding;
OOPS means Object-oriented programming (or production) system.

Hi All,
Guy’s abbreviation means short form so why you people are trying elaborate it or expand it? Ha Ha Hajust kidding. I know Ladoo means the full form.
And my answer is there is nothing like OOPS! It is just OOP (Object Oriented Programming) we just call it because it is difficult to spell out OOP concepts so we started calling it OOP’s concepts.

I got one more full form for oops it is
Object Oriented Proxy Server it is an HTTP proxy daemon for Unix.
But not system or structure.
