    Can a COBOL programmer while writing a COBOl paragraph exceed a single page in length?

    No paragraph should exceed a single page in length. The reader should not need to turn a page to continue with a procedure. It is highly desirable that this be applied to grouped (01 level) items in the DATA DIVISION.
