Report in COBOL
In a report in COBOL program what is the difference between control heading and control footing. An example on each would help me to understand the concept.

Re: Report in COBOL
The control heading consists of one or more lines of information identifying the beginning of a new logical area on a page. The control footing consists of one or more lines of information identifying the end of a logical area. The control footing can contain one or more totals and an accompanying message.
