what is the reason behind an applets slow reaction/response time to any event done for the first time? like when i click a button for the first time, it takes 10 seconds or so before a specific action is performed. but when i click it for the second time, it takes around 2 or 3 or even 1 second to perform the action...
why is this so guys?

My guess is maybe some initialization occurs the first time the button is clicked ?

This is due to caching of applet in JVM reachablee location of local system
