Why are we customizing the reports? Why do we need customization.

We Customize reports based on the clients requirements for easy assesment of the important information.

e.g:- If you are buying an item, the unit cost of the item & no of items required are displayed in the report, where as if the total cost is not displayed then we add a new field to the report, where we call it customization

because client may not require some fields or wants to add some additional fields.and also want to have a change in functionality

We Customize report to view only the mandatory columns which explains the best logic and display the exact information.

then wat does creating a synonym for a inbuilt mean? is it a Customisation?
