Re: Reportnet 1.1 and Cognos 8

cognos8 windows user interface contains frameworkmanager, metric designer, mapmanager and transformer.
cognos8 web user inetrface contains cognos connection, report studio, query studio, event studio, analysis studio and metric studio

In reportnet1.1 we can't create drill up and drill down reports where as in cognos8 we can create these reports by creating regular and measure dimensions in framework manager.

cognos8 consists of tree prompt inorder to select the hierachial data

In cognos 8 these are the new feature. Integration with enterprise portals • support for plumtree corporate portal • lightweight, url-based portal integration • portal pages and portlets in cognos connection • using portlets inside of cognos connection • sharing portal pages • improved communications between cognos portlets • other cognos connection enhancements • access to styles controlled through user preferences • user-defined home page and a customizable welcome page • connect to cognos contributor from cognos connection

    Help.

    Current Version: Cognos version 7
    Datasource: MSQL2000

    Converted to Datasource: MSQL2005

I converted my datasource from msql2000 to mssql2005 and now I cannot connect using my current version of Cognos Series 7.

    I get a dis error.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
