Thread: Take hot backup for tablespaces and table level

I would like to know what are the steps involved in backup and recovery? I need theoritical explanation and technical commands involved in that...suppose to be take hot backup for tablespaces and table level...how to do it?

Hi,

No logical structures can be considered in the hot backup.. Tablespace backup, if u mean it in hot backup its purely putting the tablespace in begin-backup mode and taking the backup of the corresponding datafiles.(User managed).


JUst if u wish to take a logical backup(tablespace and table level) i suggest u to go for exp/imp utility..
