Thread: Chance for swiching my career to development

Hi All...

I am software tester having two years of work experience....
I am interested in pursuing a development career...
My friends are suggesting me to study Java and to do a certification in it...
Will it be helpful?...

Some are telling that, even if i get a job in development, I can join as a fresher only...

Is there any chance for swiching my career to development without sacrificing my experience?

Ofcourse you can switch to Java or any other programming language. Certification will definately add some weight to your CV. Counting your exp totaly depends on the recruiter.
