How long did it fly?
Two trains start from stations A and B spaced 150kms apart at the same time and speed. As the trains start, a bird flies from one train towards the other and on reaching the second train, it flies back to the first train. This is repeated till the trains collide. If the speed of the trains is 50 km/h and that of the bird is 50km/h. How much did the bird travel till the collision.

Re: How long did it fly?
I think the bird has travelled a distance of 75km. This is because since given the speed of train and bird is same as per my idea the trains collide after travelling 75km with a speed of 50km/hr.

You are very correct Bessie.
Okay...what if the speed of the bird is 150 km/h ?
